05/11/2021 - Today I was given the brief for my BBC pitch . I wrote up a basic idea of my  original  product plan.   07/11/2021 - Today I expanded on my idea, highlighting more specific details.  I  also wrote about my inspiration for  this idea.   1 8 /11/2021 - Today I  expanded on my inspiration for my idea and  wrote about target audience for my show .   20/11/2021 - Today I said what the average run time per episode would be  and  explained  the reason for that runtime.   23/11/2021 - Today I wrote about the budget for this show in the most detail I could, this was the biggest and most difficult part of my pit ch. I also wrote a basic script for the show and done BBC research which also  referenced  h ow my show would fit in with the BBC .   Finally, today I mentioned some BBC audience statistics and said how I my idea could help the declinin g audience in the age range my show is targeting. ...

BBC pitch

  My  idea   My idea is for a BBC documentary tv show  (or  possibly a  podcast)  based around the history and development of music, showing the process of music and how music has become what it is today.  I would like to get experts and musicians to partake in interviews and narration of the show.  I would like this show to go on for multiple seasons, each season being focused on a different musical genre, this will allow the show to appeal to all music fans as at some point the show will cover every musical genre so where some people may not be fans of one genre there will be a season dedicated to a genre they do enjoy and express interest in.       Inspiration   My inspiration for this show was a Netflix show called 'The Movies That Made Us'.
